Connect your YouTube channel to Yubely to enable direct uploads, scheduling, and automated publishing.
Prerequisites
Before connecting, ensure you have:
- A YouTube channel created
- Channel ownership or manager access
- A Google account linked to the channel
Step-by-Step Connection Guide
Step 1: Navigate to Platform Connections
- Log in to your Yubely dashboard
- Click your profile icon in the top right
- Select "Settings" → "Platform Accounts"
- Click "Connect YouTube"
Step 2: Google Authorization
You'll be redirected to Google's authorization page:

Select the Google account that owns your YouTube channel

Review the permissions Yubely needs:
- View your YouTube account
- Manage your YouTube videos
- Upload videos to your channel

Click "Allow"
Note: Yubely only requests permissions necessary for uploading. We never access your personal data, emails, or other Google services.
Step 3: Select Your Channel
If your Google account manages multiple channels:
- You'll see a list of available channels
- Select the channel you want to connect
- Click "Connect This Channel"
Step 4: Verify Connection
After successful connection:
- Return to Yubely's Platform Accounts page
- You should see your channel listed with:
- Channel name
- Subscriber count
- Connection status (✅ Connected)
Connecting Multiple Channels
Yubely supports connecting multiple YouTube channels:
- Repeat the connection process for each channel
- Each channel can be linked to different brands
- Manage all channels from one dashboard

Troubleshooting Connection Issues
"Access Denied" Error
Causes:
- Channel not owned by Google account
- Insufficient channel permissions

- Ensure you're signing in with the correct Google account
- Check you have manager or owner access to the channel
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
"Channel Not Found"
Causes:
- Channel recently created (may take time to appear)
- Channel is terminated or suspended

- Wait 24 hours if channel is new
- Verify channel exists at youtube.com
- Contact YouTube support if channel is suspended
Connection Keeps Expiring

- Google token revoked

Note: Disconnecting won't affect already-uploaded videos.

Protect Your Connection
- Enable 2FA on your Google account
- Review connected apps regularly in Google settings
- Don't share your Yubely account credentials
Revoking Access
If you suspect unauthorized access:
- Go to Google Account Security
- Find "Third-party apps with account access"
- Remove Yubely access
- Change your Google password
- Reconnect in Yubely with fresh authorization
